What the Heck is a Sleep Rhythm Reset?!

It's a short-term, individual coaching program designed to provide a custom solution to help you fall asleep more quickly, stay asleep through the night, and maintain adequate energy levels during the day.

The program reaches these goals through an initial online Sleep Analysis Survey combined with a phone or video call to identify your chronotype (more info below), analyze sleep hygiene and complaints, track daily habits, and take stock of previously attempted interventions. From there, you will create your custom S.L.E.E.P. Plan alongside your coach to ensure inclusion of all necessary elements of our proprietary process in an easy-to-follow daily routine. Your final plan will be provided in a PDF document via email. Other plan delivery arrangements can be made upon request.

Additional tools and resources will also be provided as needed depending on your unique circumstances. These supplementary items may include personalized relaxation exercises, movement recommendations, meal recipes, over-the-counter supplements to discuss with your doctor, and habit modification tactics and tracking. Your coach will check in with you occasionally through email for added accountability and to address any questions that might come up.

ABOUT COACHING IN GENERAL...
Does coaching address clinical anxiety, depression, or personality disorders?
Coaching does NOT address long-standing diagnosed mental health conditions. Sleep coaching specifically focuses on exploring factors that affect sleep and energy, especially stress and acute anxiety, thus affecting overall health and wellness. If you battle long-standing mental health conditions or diagnosed sleep disorder, then a licensed therapist or your primary healthcare provider will more likely provide the benefits you seek. In fact, a good coach will make a referral if these situations come up in coaching sessions.

How do traditional therapy and coaching compare?
If you were to compare traditional therapy and coaching, therapists possess the training and skills to analyze and understand how past experiences affect your current ability to thrive in society and achieve optimal mental health. Coaches, on the other hand, help clients take inventory of their current mindset only as it relates to the goals established in the coaching process. In other words, coaches accept your unique starting point and push you toward your ideal future, as determined entirely by you, using your present strengths to build upon and create momentum.​

How does coaching work?

Through carefully crafted questions, activities, and challenges, I guide you toward self-discovery of the changes necessary to move from sleepless to sleep-satisfied. Don't expect to eliminate issues that prevent good sleep in a single night, or even a single week. Although some benefits take shape within 24 hours, others take 14 days or more to reach fruition. I provide one-of-a-kind tools, support, and motivation to keep you moving toward end goals you can

What will be expected of me during the coaching process? 
The coaching process requires effort on your part. I can't do everything for you, and I won't hand you all of the answers. In addition to participating in your one-time, 45-minute coaching call, you'll also need to devote roughly thirty minutes to an hour each day to follow through on the action items we determined for your S.L.E.E.P. Plan. Think of all the effort you've already put into getting a good night's sleep lately, only to feel like it remains out of your reach. Redirect that energy into a process that helps you regain control, starting with your first 24 hours of a Sleep Rhythm Reset.

You will set up to three sleep goals with Brenna that can realistically be met within 14 days. The degree to which your quality of sleep in general will improve may vary depending on the complexity of your situation including competing habits, the causes of your sleep difficulties and their severity, and how long you've had trouble sleeping.


What are the limitations of this coaching program?

Although Brenna is a board-certified music therapist (credentialed through the Certification Board for Music Therapists in the United States) with coaching certifications in sleep science and stress management (recognized by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners), she is not a licensed psychologist or medical doctor. As such, the Sleep Rhythm Reset Coaching Program is not intended as a substitute for psychological counseling, therapy, or professional health care advice.

What happens after the 14-day coaching program is finished?
You may choose to continue receiving coaching services beyond the 14-day Sleep Rhythm Reset program or purchase other services per their applicable rates.

About access rights and acceptable use...
​Will I be able to access downloaded PDF files and other program materials offline?
Once you download an item, of course! You must download anything you want to access offline. Then you'll be able to open those items on most digital devices. No need for internet access once they're on a particular device.

Just make sure your device has PDF reader software or an app installed on it. We recommend the newest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader available for PC, Android smartphone or tablet, Mac, iPhone, iPad, and most digital PDF readers or e-readers.

Some bonuses and supplemental resources feature MP3 music/audio tracks and MP4 (MPEG-4) videos. All are downloadable for use offline as long as you have an appropriate MP3/MP4 player.

Do I have access to the downloaded materials forever?
